Art supplies - List of my favorites

I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately on social media regarding art supplies. I decided to create a list of my favorites . I’ve tested a lot of different brands and I am still constantly trying new products, so this list might change every once in a while.

At the moment I work a lot with Golden & liquitex for acrylic paint, le sennelier for oil pastels, prima and kuretake for my watercolors.

You can simply click on the images to view more. I hope this helps !

Florals - Current obsession.

🌸 Claude Monet

I’ve been totally obsessed with flowers lately.

Here are a few inspirations and some of my work regarding this floral obsession.

“Silently a flower blooms,
In silence it falls away;
Yet here now, at this moment, at this place,
The world of the flower, the whole of
the world is blooming.
This is the talk of the flower, the truth
of the blossom:
The glory of eternal life is fully shining here.”
-Zenkei Shibayama

New art print series. Inspired by the movement and colors of floral arrangements.

New summer art prints

This series is largely inspired by flowers, their movement, textures and lines. I analyzed what they represent for me and tried to represent on paper these emotions.

The book "Field Flowers of Quebec and the Maritimes" by Sylvain Parent made me want to observe and document the wildflowers of our province. We meet them every day without necessarily taking the time to notice their beauty. I started to look deeper and find incredible specimens. An unsuspected world of dazzling shapes and colors. They inspired me for this new series.

Spring - art prints

As I live in Canada, in montréal to be precise, the seasons change and bring the temperatures to vary from -35 to +35. It affects us deeply. We change clothes, habits and sometimes attitude throughout the seasons. When springtime is in the air, you can feel and see changes around you. Not only regarding nature but also through people. This feeling of rejuvenation and regrowth is intense. When I see the first flower buds and leaves, I simply can’t believe how nature is powerful, mysterious and fecund.

This art print series is inspired by the magical energy of spring. The loads of colors, greens and abundance. I hope it energizes you and that maybe next winter it will give you a little glimpse of this amazing emotion spring brings to us.

Each art print was inspired by a wildflower from Québec.

Here are a few images that represent the whole process behind this new series.
