Lysa is from Trois-Rivières, now living and working in Montreal. She is known for her ability to illustrate her emotions, her perception of life and her interpretation of nature. Whether on canvas or watercolor paper, her abstract paintings made with a fine selection of acrylics, oil pastels and inks, express a balance between fullness and emptiness, led by an emotion of tranquility. These results, both serene and sometimes chaotic, are obtained by an accumulation of several layers of paint applied with different tools and techniques, and varying intensities.
