Although Pantone’s chosen color is stirring quite a bit of controversy in the creative world, and I personally would have preferred a color other than white, it still represents a moment of tranquility for me, a gentle breath that often finds its way into my practice. White, for me, is the space where everything begins: the light that allows other colors to breathe. It’s a shade that creates movement, contrast, and silence. An invitation to simplicity, clarity, and openness, a neutral ground where emotion can finally take up all the space.
